  • Place well worth a visit if you are only in Giżycko so find time for a minute to visit Fortresses

  • the visit of this vast site. This is a strength of 800 that was converted to military uses during World War 2 and still partly given as a barracks by the army. Has not undergone restoration details and looks therefore as original. The ticket price is negligible. The complex is rather extensive and there are several possible routes marked on maps that are located within the same site. There are interesting historical treasures placed in local areas scattered around the Fort. Inside is also a pub. The Fort is located near the City Park, visit recommended for lovers of the genre

  • August 15, 2016, I had the opportunity to participate in the days of fortress Boyen, which aim to bring the story of the most important Prussian fortress. Today the fortress is well preserved and labelled such as the Prussian 19th century thought of engineering, so that we can be tempted to explore. It is worth to buy map object that is to accompany a tour. As we're lucky that we find an interesting walk with a guide. I highly recommend, an interesting attraction for people of all ages.

  • This fortress is amazing to walk through! It covers a huge area and the outer walls are still intact all the way around. It is perfect for catching a glimpse of medieval history. As far as I could tell the fortress doesn't have guided tours, but there are three clearly marked trails of different lengths and there are information boards in Polish, English, and German at every point of interest.
  • Atrakcja Giżycka.
  • Place a lot of a little going into up and down steep stairs. We had arranged a guide that is not there and after half an hour of waiting we toured on their own.

  • Very large fortress, 3 route can be worked around in one day, without a guide, however, it's hard to know, ticket very cheap as the number of sightseeing

  • Support of the Fort is not for tourists, as employed by the City Hall, which is always the same ... and without the hope of better money for your hard work with people-tired and not cultural (so I) ext. piece of history but in ruins to this lack of knowledge of the history of this place causes, we just walk ... without a guide, or move. and yet the parking that is not .... a lot of work to do and we already have the year 2016. The concept of coherent Fort No. ..
