Mariacka Street (ulica Mariacka), Gdansk
(4.7/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web)
Known for the booths selling amber jewelry that line the street, Mariacka Street (ulica Mariacka) is also home to cultural curosities, such as a sculpture of a tightrope walker balancing high above shoppers' heads. The narrow, cobbled road with walk-up townhouses recalls the city's golden age. The Krzywy Domek building represents an architectural oddity, with warped walls that make it appear as if it is a mirage materializing on the horizon. Take your time exploring this narrow pedestrian street. With our online itinerary creator, Gdansk attractions like Mariacka Street (ulica Mariacka) can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • I lived right behind this delightful pedestrian street. Part of the old town stands to connect the River to the beautiful basilica of mariacka. Is parallel to the main streets of the old town Dluga street and piwna street full of locals and historic monuments.
