  • That is an old market hall restored and modernized, and you can find a lot of stalls with food [fresh vegaetables, meat, etc.] but you can buy another things like ready garments etc.  more »
  • In a beautiful building of the 19th century in brick, steel and glass, recently restored, a succession of small shops. To see and taste: in the basement, the food shops (meats, cheese, pastries, wine shops and fishmongers). Must try: fish stores inside have some tables and chairs where you can enjoy their prepared dishes (the Baltic herring or salmon prepared according to different recipes dozens). Possibility to buy in nearby stalls other prepared dishes (potatoes baked dill, vegetables) but also of the pastries and drinks and enjoy all on-site. Overall, for a ridiculously small price! To see around the Hall, outside: market of fruits and vegetables in the stalls carefully staged. Summer, taste fresh gooseberries, or do as the Polish children: take a sunflower to eat the seeds in the street.

  • the historic market Hall next to the Church of St. Claus. World War II spared this architectural wonder. Restored, renovated a vibrant merchant. Inside the lower floor dedicated to trade in foodstuffs-interesting exposed, always fresh and of the best quality (especially meat and fish), higher level-clothing, accessories and other (not utter, because I do not make this type of there). Around the Hall, the large square with many stalls, fruit and vegetable, herbs, flowers, seeds. There are also very small traders-działkowiczów who will be happy to share their seasonal collections, the proverbial parsley, fruit, berries straight from the forest and wild mushrooms. RECOMMEND

  • Very interesting. It has different levels, clothing and shoes on ground floor. Below, meat cheese fruit vegetables and much more. Great atmosphere.
  • This historic market hall is still the best place in the old town of Gdańsk to buy food. In the basement are smaller stalls where you can buy a lot of meat, delicious cheese, fresh fish and baked goods. Outside is a market with great vegetables and fruits. It's one of my favourite places in Gdańsk.
  • Beautiful building but except from that everything was wrong. Bad scent, lack of goods' variety - mostly small clothes stands - and just nothing to look for.
  • Nice local market for Food, clothes and produce (outside). It actually is underrated. The only down side is much of food cost a bit more here, and makes it tough shopping here on a tighter budget.
  • A bit run down, but worth seeing for the nice architecture, especially outside.
