We arrived by train from Warsaw, it raining, and we had to wait a long time in the rain to come any taxi or some Uber of the not too many that operate in the city. It was some repeated, turning again to load more travelers. Against the station I have nothing, but it is in a site from which it can not to walk to your hotel, even less if it rains and you luggage, and public transport to the city is a mess.

Gdansk Glowny (main train station) is only 2:25 in Central Warsaw, and 5 h 20 of Krakow Glowny: ideal to discover the riches of Gdansk. Intercity trains are both comfortable and punctual, reasonable rates. Gdansk Glowny station, very frequent regional trains to Sopot, seaside resort on the Baltic, route 20-25 minutes for €2 round trip about.
