    And again a piece of history that is worth seeing in the end is. .. see guided a little freaky but enormous knowledge a must after the Hit. Although able to also enjoy showing around the fortress I ran out. If you succeed you can see soldiers from that era)

    Fortress Vistula mouth-historical [1] fortress in Gdansk over the Dead Vistula, at the former mouth of the Vistula to Gdańsk Bay. Is located in the area of Processing close to the estate, North Port and hit the Vistula mouth. Fortress Vistula mouth is not only a monument of architecture of fortification, but also one of the largest in the Pomeranian wintering place of bats. In 2005 there were earned 313 individuals these strictly protected animals. The most populous species spending the winter here is Natterer, frequent and relatively numerous are greater mouse-eared bat and pond bat. Fortress Vistula mouth is a historic building of the fortress is situated in Gdansk over the Dead Vistula River, at the site of the former mouth of the River to the Gulf of Gdansk. In its close vicinity are: Westerplatte, Vistula mouth and North Port. This building dates back to the 14th century, the time of the Teutonic Knights. Already then here was a wooden guardhouse, which was completely burnt in 1433 by the Hussite Radziwiłł. Then in 1482 he was founded here a brick tower with lantern, which meet the role control for ship traffic on the River, and she has watched over the access to the port of Gdansk.
