  • One of the largest centers of pilgrimage in Europe, the monastery of São Paulo, on the Hill of light, where the famous Black Madonna, Byzantine painting of our Lady of Czestochowa. Place of meditation and reflection.

  • The Pauline order, founded in Hungary in 1215 by Saint Eusebius, today in Europe just this monastery to testify to its existence. The monastery is nice and has the privilege of house within the Church of the Black Madonna. The religious souvenir shop is also a Mini-Museum of sacred art and worth visiting. If you get thirsty, there is in the inner courtyard a multiple source profusely, with fresh drinking water and desalterante (free of charge).

  • For the overwhelming majority of Pauline Monastery where is stored the miraculous image. However, that's not all. It is above all a priceless monument, which is a shrine and Museum (Treasury, arsenal, etc) that I highly recommend a visit. I also recommend (if you will be able to and no desire to) even a short conversation with the friars.
