Situated where the Swiss, German, and French borders meet, Basel is considered the hub of Dreilandereck, this "three countries corner." Its location makes Basel a center of culture and history, brimming with important theaters and museums.
On the 3rd (Thu), wander the streets of Altstadt-Spaziergange durch Basel, then don't miss a visit to Rathaus (Municipio), then take in the spiritual surroundings of Basel Minster, and finally see the interesting displays at HoosesaggMuseeum. On your second day here, tour the pleasant surroundings at Zoo Basel, then explore the world behind art at Fondation Beyeler, then explore the world behind art at Museum Tinguely, and finally see the interesting displays at HeK (Haus der elektronischen Künste Basel).

Bern

The capital and political center of Switzerland, Bern sits on a peninsula formed by the U-shaped River Aare.
Start off your visit on the 7th (Mon): explore the activities along Thunersee, pause for some photo ops at Barenpark, and then wander the streets of UNESCO-Altstadt von Bern. As one of the country's oldest ski resorts, Grindewald serves as a prime example of a cozy Swiss ski town.

Mostly known for its world-renowned jazz festival, Montreux serves as a picturesque lakeside resort town on the Swiss Riviera.
Kick off your visit on the 12th (Sat): step into the grandiose world of Chateau de Chillon, then appreciate the history behind Freddie Mercury Statue, and then admire the landmark architecture of Cathedrale de Lausanne.
