Where to stay in Vigan

With the main places to see in Vigan located on Crisologo Street, you'll find the primary accommodations in town close by. The pedestrianized street houses few accommodations itself, but the connecting roads offer some luxury and mid-range hotels set in atmospheric colonial-era buildings. The further you get from the cobbles of Crisologo, the more modern the accommodations, with newly built hotels in both the north and south of town, and some particularly budget-friendly options located along Liberation Boulevard as it crosses the river to the east.

  • The only thing unusual here is the advertisement of the place since it is a common plaza just like in every other Philippine provinces although our pictures were that gorgeous! Scenic and delightful!  more »
  • You cant see it right away since there were no signages going to the plaza. A lot of empanada vendors around the area.  more »
  • The place is your usual Spanish era plaza, but this time it is well maintained. It is worth a visit, especially it forms part of the Calesa tour.  more »

  • I love the dancing fountain at night. The chapel is so nice. Very relaxing place and very peaceful.
  • Vigan is a one of a kind tourist destination. The old buildings and brick road makes one feel like you are travelling back in time. Bring a pamaypay or portable fan because it is crowded by tourists.
  • Its just a simple city square, but there are lots of eateries and empanadahan in the outskirts that offers Vigan delicacies..in here we've tried the best Vigan longganisa and the creamy Igado, and also the cow innards soup (soup #5 kinda) which I forgot the name..hehe
  • World heritage.. trip back in time to spanish era.
  • You will definitely enjoy more if you experience Kalesa ride . Never missed to visit The Bell Tower, Former provincial jail but now Museum. Love the place.
