Hidden Garden, Vigan

3.6
Hidden Garden features a restaurant and a cafe in a relaxing setting filled with tropical plants and flowers, carved wooden sculptures, and lots of clay pots. Taste some local delicacies at the restaurant or just walk around the garden past a bonsai corner, an artificial grotto, and a large birdcage housing white cockatoos. • This is an average place to visit in my opinion. The food was pretty decent and the gardens nearby seemed pretty cool but I was not blown away. The service was average too.  more »
  • This is a stop Over if you take the Kalesa Ride and well worth spending a bit of time here. Many kinds of plants grown here and Bonsai trees. There are a few place here to sit and relx.  more »

  • The food and ambiance was the reason we came to this restaurant based on the recommendations of our tour guide. Loved the seating and garden atmosphere, made for a more tolerable outdoor dining experience despite the heat. The food was good but have had better from some of the local street vendors, but still quite good. There is a bit of a sales pitch given to you as you explore the garden area and at every turn you are offered some sort of plant to buy or souvenir. Although we did not buy any, the pressure to buy was less here than it was on the historic road nearby. Overall I will come again if given the opportunity
  • The food is great with lots of food selections. Servings good for 2-3 persons, place is also beautiful for pictures! πŸ‘
  • Must try foods! πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ good ambiance and rest room is incredibly unique. ☺️
  • Good food and ambiance! Cool and cozy place.
  • If you want to slow down a bit from the hustle and get some fill at the same time, then this place is a must-try. Whether you go alone or with the gang, ut can surely accommodate you. The local recipes are delectable and reasonably priced. Also, you can roam around at their garden with a wide collection of plants, you may even buy one. One more thing, I love the idea if their restroom with urinal hung in an old wood strategically placed on a clear glass walling! Isn't that cool?

Where to stay in Vigan

With the main places to see in Vigan located on Crisologo Street, you'll find the primary accommodations in town close by. The pedestrianized street houses few accommodations itself, but the connecting roads offer some luxury and mid-range hotels set in atmospheric colonial-era buildings. The further you get from the cobbles of Crisologo, the more modern the accommodations, with newly built hotels in both the north and south of town, and some particularly budget-friendly options located along Liberation Boulevard as it crosses the river to the east.
