  • I came to Vigan via the Partas bus from Manila. I was informed that the journey would take about 8 to 10 hours and thus I selected my boarding time at 9.30 pm. It was to our surprise that the bus arri...  more »
  • A great fountain show at the plaza, great job for putting this in the city as an added attraction in the night for Vigan. Great also for having a date night.  more »
  • Go there early - you need to have comfy seats and have a great view. It's worth the wait. They played popular, classic and seasonal songs during the 30 minute show. I was surprisingly not bored at all...  more »

  • I stumbled upon the Dancing Fountains show by accident. There was not much to do in Vigan, so I just sat by the fountains before sunset watching the world go by and enjoying the gradual change of pace as the place got darker. It struck me that more and more people were gathering around the fountains, which triggered a memory of something I had read in some guide about a fountain show. As you can tell, it was not something that I was specifically seeking, but I thought "well here I am, so I might as well catch the start of it". The show started at 7.30, but once I caught the start I could not tear myself away! I just kept thinking "this is good, just another 5 minutes more..." The combination of varied music, dancing water fountains and a multicoloured light show kept me there a further 45 minutes! That is a pretty long time for someone who is not particularly fussed about water fountain shows. In short, I was pleasantly surprised, particularly in such a small town that offered little else in terms of entertainment!
  • Nice place. Wide open spaces. Lots of shade around the fountain and offers a good 360 view of the heart of the city.
  • The show starts at 7:30 during weekdays, and 7:30 and 8:30 during weekends. The show is very relaxing. It combines the fountain, lights and music in mesmerizing a boring evening. The music varies from time to time.
  • This is an unexpected delight. The show is entertaining and not too long. Plenty of places near for snacks and or drinks.
  • This was such a fun show. What I love about Vigan is its tourist spot are mainly free (most of it that are owned by the government).
