Daranak Falls, Tanay

3.0
#1 of 10 in Parks in Rizal Province
Waterfall Nature / Park
Daranak Falls provides visitors with a picturesque 14 m (45.9 ft) cascade, and a deep spacious pool for a cooling swim. The site has plenty of amenities, including showers, restrooms, and life guards on duty. You can hire picnic tables, as well as floats for less confident swimmers, at the falls. Weekends can get overcrowded, so if you'd prefer a quieter experience, consider visiting on a weekday before lunchtime. The humidity of the site means it's also worth bringing along some bug spray. • I went on a solo trip to Daranak Falls and left my house after lunch. I naively thought that Tanay is not that far. Well, it is far. I reached Star Mall in Shaw Blvd. via MRT around 2:30 PM. I opted t...  more »
  • Very clean and beautiful water! The staff was accommodating and it's just a nice way to spend an afternoon. Best to go on a weekday.  more »

  • The view is relaxing yet there is no safe place to leave your things especially if all of you are going to swim. You have to bring a dry bag for your belongings. Google Map provides a wrong direction going to this place so be careful you might end up in the mountains just like us. 😓
  • A nice place to rejuvenate your mind and soul as the pressure from the water hit your head down to the ends of your spine at a least costly price. Most advisable to visit during weekdays to maximize enjoying the beauty of the place and to avoid too much crowd.
  • The resort is managed by the local government unit (LGU) and as expected the facilities are not well maintained. Though there is already a P50.00 entrance fee per person but you still have to pay P5.00 everytime you use the public toilet/rest room inside the resort
  • Beautiful scenery and a very relaxing place to cool and refresh yourself.
  • Enchanting nature. Awesome destination. Blue water and nearby calinawan cave. Has locker facility, life jackets and food inside. Tricycles are there for returning to main roads and bus stations.
