  • Nice cave. Must go place on visiting Daranak falls. Nature's own creation. Get a local guide (700 pesos) and is worth it. Small treking to go to cave. Can't enter the cave without helmet and torch. Growing stalactites inside. Fully dark inside. Film shooting spot. Hiding spot for Japanese soldiers during world war. Friendly guides. Awesome experience.
  • Interesting caves. ..quite slippy inside.
  • The place got beautiful waterfalls nearby and worth the experience for cave explorations.
  • If you want to explore places near Manila, Tanay should be part of your list and Calinawan Cave should be #1 on your itinerary. You can visit as early as 6am. 200 per guide is too much for just a very short trip (level 1-2 only, levels 3-5 extra fee). You can explore the 5-level cave system in less than 30minutes. Beginners can try this as passages are easy and huge enough but muddy when wet. There were only 2 narrow passages as I can remember. Few bats flying inside the cave. We saw a small snake inside as well.
