Bamboo Hanging Bridge, Tagbilaran City

2.3/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web
A walk over wobbly Bamboo Hanging Bridge, which offers scenic views of a green river that runs gently between the lush vegetation of mangroves, bamboo, and coconut trees. Locals used to use the bridge to cross to the main road on their daily business, but as soon as the bridge started to attract a lot of tourists, the government built a “twin bridge” that runs parallel to the old one. Now the old bridge is used as an entrance, and the new one as an exit, with a short flight of concrete stairs leading up to the bridges. Souvenir shops on the riverbank sell hats, bags, and shirts, as well as some more unusual wares, such as ukuleles.
