  • I wonder how they spend the entrance fees that they collect here? This place used to be nice, clean, well-maintained, with entertaining activities, shops and places to eat. Now it is such a run-down, cheap, dirty, and almost like an abandoned place especially the higher level. I won't consider this as a tourist destination anymore as you will be more dispappointed than be happy. The management doesn't care and for sure just pocketing the money they collect. They are not thinking about their future. They are not thinking that if they just maintain the place they can still keep their jobs and will bring more livelihood to the people. It really breaks me to see places like this, that deserve to be maintained and improved yet they just disregard and even fill them with trash. This place is so elevated and so you get to see the beautiful view of Tagaytay if the weather is nice. It is best to visit to see the view when it is sunny. And if you want to experience fog and a different feel from Metro Manila, it is the nearer place that you can go to. It depends on what you want to see and experience. This place deserves better if not the best. The people deserve what it's worth the travel, time and money that they spent here. Our pleas to the management and the Department of Tourism to bring back the beauty of this place. Help the tourists. Help the people. Help the city.
  • A good place to go during the cold months. You can ride ponies here and buy souvenirs. Going to the top is tiring because the road is steep. The top of the chapel is super windy so be careful when you have small kids with you who might go up the brick/rock walls.
  • Pros: Great view Souvenirs shops available Jeeps are available if you're not able to walk to the top Cons: Poorly maintained and some areas are dirty. I believe if the management renovates those bad areas, the place can be fully utilized.
  • This place is a very wonderful place especially to bikers and those who love outdoor activities. It is nice place for tourist and has a really amazing view. I went here multiple times riding my bike and i still mesmerize by its beauty.
  • The view is nice but the park is not maintained well. Some cleaning needs to be done but otherwise, a great place to enjoy a nice view and some fresh air.

Where to stay in Tagaytay

The main accommodations of Tagaytay sit along the ridge that forms the spine of the town. The road that snakes its way along here contains many of the restaurants, services, and urban attractions of Tagaytay, so the ridge represents the town center, unfurled. You'll find hotels of great variety along the ridge, as well as some simple guesthouses and hostels. Set back from here, some larger resorts make use of the increase in space by offering wellness-retreat-style accommodation, fine-dining restaurants, and rental apartments.
