Salagdoong Beach, Siquijor Island

(2.9/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
Along with the powdery sand beach and pristine turquoise sea, Salagdoong Beach offers concrete diving platforms for jumping into the water. The diving cliffs reach two different heights, one at 5 m (16 ft) and the second at 10 m (32 ft). Even if you’re not the adventurous type, climb to the ledge simply for the vista of crystal clear sea, endless horizon, and limestone rocks enclosing the lagoon. When you head back down to sea level, explore the water, which thrives with small corals. Find refreshments in the onsite restaurant and bar, or enjoy a picnic in the provided barbecue area. • My driver took me here and the place was half empty with people either getting drunk or reading a book. The slides are made out of cement and closed off, I guess after they built this crap they figure...  more »
  • Wasn't what I was expecting. The facilities are ok. The natural rock looks better without the concrete slides. A touristy place.
  • Two fine beaches are located. They are somewhat rocky but still fine. Great snorkelling from the beach. It is also possible to jump from the cliffs. Restaurant is located on the site also. Entry to get down to the beach.
