Cambugahay Falls, Siquijor Island

Admire multi-tiered cascades fed by burbling springs at Cambugahay Falls, featuring a popular swimming hole surrounded by lush jungle. Track the falls down their three tiers to the most popular swimming spot below the final level, with a relatively deep basin offering plenty of room for splashing around. Alternatively, you can bring a picnic, kick back on the shore, and listen to the splashing water come down. Use extra caution with your valuables when visiting the falls, as some visitors have reported petty theft as a recurring issue in this area. • On my first visit here, I was really scared to jump. I only jump twice. But this time, I was jumping and jumping over and over again. This place is good for family with children maybe not younger than...  more »
  • Deserves its place as the top attraction. The 135 steep steps was a test..but well worth the effort. Everyone around the falls were really helpful and water was perfect. Great rope swings and a lot of...  more »
  • Paid a total of 70 php each to enter the falls today, 50 php entrance and 20php parking. Franki, our guide, led the way down a path which was steep in sections but bamboo rails helped enormously, more...  more »

  • Beautiful waterfalls. Picturesque. A steep walk down so be prepared on hot days and watch our if the stairs are slippery. As has been mentioned it is privately owned so you will get hit up for a few fees while you are there (parking and rope swinging etc). But lets be honest... It won't break the bank. The water was so warm and inviting. Bring a good camera. You'll want to remember this place.
  • Awesome place..water is so clean and warm. There is a little hidden cave to the left behind one of the waterfalls. There is a P10 charge to park your bike and some pretty steep stairs to climb back up! I didn't use the rope swing as they were charging people for it which in my opinion is a total rip off..you can just jump in for free. Definitely worth a trip...you won't regret it!
  • Clean and scenic. The 135 steps going down and up was quite a challenge though especially when it rains.
  • The most amazing waterfall in Siquijor! We went there in the evening and stayed until they close the place. It just costs 10p for parking but this place is magical and worth a lot more. I loved it. Photographers dream.
  • Steep stairway down and specially the up part (tiring). Not PWD friendly, I tell you. It's like more than a hundred steep steps. There's a small entrance fee. The pool/falls area is huge enough to occupy a lot of people to swim but there's not much spot to leave all your precious stuff. Best to bring your own beach blanket (lagu) or towel and find a rock/soil that isn't wet, where you can leave your things. There's additional fee if you rent those bamboo tables/chairs. Great if you have a water camera (go pro). Make sure that it has a floater and someone is there to assist you since it is a running water. Avoid wearing lose bikini. It might fall off with the impact if you wish to try swing. It has clean water and yes the color is indeed bluish green. I remembered we actually paid a guide. They said it is not allowed if you don't have a guide. Weird but anyways he was nice and friendly to bring us to the higher/other tier of this falls and it's like we had our own falls.
