Sohoton Lagoon, Siargao Island

Categories: Bodies of Water, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web
Swim in the surreal, blue Sohoton Lagoon and explore the caves around it. To enter the lagoon, which forms part of a national park, you need to first go through the adjoining cove. Snorkel in the water to admire the coral and rock formations, which can be easily seen thanks to the lagoon's crystal clear water. Around the lagoon, you can explore the caves and seven islets, while adrenalin junkies can jump from a cliff into the lagoon. You might notice large groups of jellyfish gathering in certain parts of the lagoon, but don't worry--they don't sting.
