Greenhills Shopping Center, San Juan

4.1
#5 of 90 in Shopping in Luzon
Shopping Shopping Mall
A vibrant retail complex packed to the rafters with stores, stalls, and dining options, Greenhills Shopping Center also plays host to the majority of the country’s South Sea pearl traders. As you move through this seemingly endless stretch of shops within a sprawling two-story development, browse in air-conditioned comfort, finding hidden bargains, replica designs, and, of course, pearls. When you need to rest your feet, stop off at one of the many restaurants and cafes, serving both Western-style and Filipino cuisine. Vendors expect to haggle, so engage with the bargaining culture and don’t accept the initial price. Plan your visit to Greenhills Shopping Center and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our San Juan trip generator.

  • Nice place if you want fakes and bad quality products. The watches are not qualitative and some of them don't even exist. The staff is horrible because they always say "Hello Sir, you buy blablabla" a...  more »
  • Probably my favourite place to shop in Manilla for cheap items. The location is set up similar to a market but is all indoors. Stall after stall of handbags, clothing and other items, it goes on and o...  more »
  • The place is huge and so many things to shop for. The prices are very cheap but you just need to find good quality as well. The aisles are a bit small, it can be over crowded most of the time.  more »

  • A place where you can buy anything and everything - from the latest gadgets and gizmos, to knock-offs, authentic brand name shoes, bags, and clothes, native stuff, and of course jewelry and pearls - freshwater or South Sea pearls. Anything you fancy and loads of it too. Here you can also sample good and authentic Chinese food. It is always a pleasure to be at Greenhills. It is a shoppers haven - a place where you can have your retail therapy, fulfill your insatiable appetite to purchase but still not break the bank...
  • Just being refurbished as a major market stall area. I can't wait to get back their when or is fully operational. Also famous for good priced computer and mobiles both new and second hand.
  • Great for bargain shopping! It can get crowded on weekends, so best to go on a weekday. Many stalls sell the same items so check prices first and then haggle for the best price. :)
  • Go-to shopping place for tourists. You can find bargain deals on clothes, get to taste the local delicacies from the different regions of the country from the food section -- all found in the tiangge. Parking can be a hassle, better to be there as soon as it opens (10am).
  • A bargain hunter's paradise (well it used to be anyway) hence why it got 3 stars. There is a huge array of stores selling everything from shoes, bags, watches, cloths & food etc etc, use to be fun bargaining with the store owner's but now it seem all the stalls there have come to some sort of standard price across the whole center. Every store has a 50% off sign when you try to bargain they tell you it's already discounted (I call BS on that one) that's why I go to a place like GreenHills the excitement of bargaining for your favourite things (the fun is gone). If I can't bargain in a market style setting why do I need to go there?!?!? There is also a shopping complex right next to it which is quite good, clean & modern. Parking is a breeze plenty of space. If your after the excitement of bargaining and actually getting a bargain go to Binondo instead.
