  • I have been coming here for quite a number of years. The main draw is that it is so convenient and quick to get to from Davao City. There is a parking area on the Davao side and the boats are very fre...  more »
  • The photos is nothing in person. It was misleading. The food was okay, nothing special. The beach was so crowded. The only good thing is they have a direct pump boat from the resort to the city.  more »

  • This is a place we go to for a quick swim or lunch at the beach. The proximity to the city is only 5 mins away by boat and once you arrive, it is complete. They have a restaurant, activities area, (super) mini zoo and most especially, the white white sand beach. The tables are free but on a first come, first serve basis. The also have tables exclusive to restaurant goers. Prepare for an entrance fee and a boat fare.
  • Me and my wife stayed in this resort from 09 October to 10 October 2014 when I attended our department's meeting which was also held at this place. It was our first time in Samal Island so I was apprehensive at first when we're still aboard the motorboat because the seas were a little rough. However when we reached Paradise Island, we were awed by the beauty and cleanliness of the resort. The place is a very ideal getaway from all the stress from work because you'll feel very peaceful especially upon waking in the morning and hearing the chirps of the birds in the aviary also located inside. The place is very appropriate for honeymooners. Me and my wife have been married for seventeen years and we felt like newlyweds during our stay there. :-) Not only is the resort very attractive, all the staff are also very courteous and highly disciplined. Wherever you go you'll always be greeted by the staff no matter how busy they were and you won't see piles of leaves in the sand because any staff who sees a leaf that just fell from the trees automatically picks it up and puts it in the waste bin. If only all of us have this kind of discipline then our country would be a much nicer place to live in. Our stay there, though short, was a very memorable one and we're already planning of coming back to this paradise - this time with the kids.
  • Cool place to relax and unwind. Safe, security is high. Good venue for kids, they will surely love the mini zoo and park. We really had a great time.
  • I highly recommend this convenient and affordable day trip getaway from Davao City. Just a 15-20 minute boat ride to get there. The beach resort is extremely clean and well maintained. The maintenance crew actually rakes the sand. There is plenty of shade covered tables within a few feet of the beach. The water was perfect for a relaxing swim. There was a live band performing classic Beatles songs while we enjoyed a nice lunch. The perfect getaway for a relaxing day.
  • Food is expensive. You can get more value for money in other beach resorts. However, the resort is well maintained! Minimal to no trash found in the waters.
