Cave Geologic Formation
Known by its nickname "Big Cave," Sumaguing Cave has the largest chambers of any cave in the area. Experience this natural wonder and its limestone formations via guided walking tours or spelunking. Though the latter is more adventurous, the former is very informative and entertaining. But be warned--if you have a fear of heights or tight spaces, this attraction may not be right for you. • If you are the adventurous/active type of traveler, I highly suggest to do the spelunking of the Sumaguing cave. According to our tour guide, you can also do just caving, which does not include the ri...  more »
  • well worth it, but some level of fitness required. Not for people with walking/climbing restrictions. we only did the first two parts of the cave and going down is more difficult than coming back out.  more »
  • We walked here, down the hill instead of doing a tour. Although hot it was easy enough. When you get to break in wall for the cave the proper walk starts. Keep following the path, it does lead to the ...  more »

  • Very interesting! Went in with a friendly guide. If one's a bit adventurous, I recommend to try the Lumiang connection.
  • Our guide said it's easier to manage the slippery rocks on bare feet which was true :) wear gloves as the stage 1 of the cave have plenty of rocks with bat pee. For the adventurous and a bit fit, go finish the full course of the cave at the "tunnel". There are ropes that can help manage some of the tricky spots.
  • Not for the faint heart. Did Lumiang and Sumaging cave route and oh my.... 4 hours inside the cave felt like forever. Must wear your trekking shoes. I highly suggest you start the tour in the morning. We did ours past 3pm and ended around 7ish. We decided to have dinner out but most food chain and stores were closed by 8pm. Listen to the guides and trust in them!!!!
  • Sumaguing - Lumiang Connection Cave An amazing first time experience spelunking. Extreme but very safe.
  • One of the largest cave I've been to. Beautiful place. It just gets crowded on weekends and holidays.
