  • I'll be honest. The enrollment system of the school is so burdensome that you'd have to line up at 4 AM in the morning (sometimes even earlier) just to get subjects'units to avoid having the underload status. Though many of the professors are locally and internationally recognised for their brilliance, a whole lot of them, too, are sadistic and are horrible at teaching. When it rains, always expect getting dirty. Rallies happen a lot here, which may sometimes cause hindrances on the traffic system. Many of the facilities are outdated and are probably older than you are. A lot of weird things happen here... But If you wish to study in a campus which teaches you practical skills both in the academe and in life, go to UP. If you wish to experience true greatness that is in humility, go to UP. If you wish to understand why the rallies happen, go to UP. If you wish to be one with the people, and to find reason to appreciate life (including yours) even more, go to UP. If you have yet to understand the diversity of people existing in our society, go to UP. If you have not yet been in an environment dedicated to open discussions for the understanding of the matters that use deep thoughts from the heart and mind, go to UP. If you seem to have forgotten to appreciate the things in life that you have, material or abstract, go to UP. If you wish to have your eyes and ears and skin and mind be opened in a whole new level about the Philippines and the world, go to UP. If you wish to experience a campus brimming with students and professors of talent, of reasonable humility, of rightful mindset, of selfless personalities, all from different parts of the Philippines, different sexualities, different languages, different classes of society, and different passions but all united by the aim of achieving honor and excellence, go to UP. So if you can, go to UP.
  • The premier university in the Philippines. The Sunken Garden is the best place to people watch.
  • Great place to jog, bike, walk, get fresh air, recharge, and much more. Aside from it being an exemplary academic institution, promoting academic freedom.
  • Not all professors are good at teaching but that itself is part of the UP experience. Most facilities are outdated and enrollment procedures are incredibly burdensome. However, what you learn in your stay within the campus is priceless.
  • U.P. Diliman...has a several hectare campus...located near the New Era University in Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City..
