Ugong Rock, Puerto Princesa

(4/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
Join an organized tour to explore the labyrinth caves of Ugong Rock, a 22 m (75 ft) limestone natural wonder governed by a community-based tourism project. The caves lie In the midst of farmlands and karst forests, and your tour culminates in a sharp, entertaining zipline. When underground, pound the stalactites with your knuckles to produce the characteristic reverberating sound called "Ugong." Since there are a lot of tight spaces to squeeze through during the exploration, visitors must meet the imposed weight restrictions, and children under the age of ten are not allowed. Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to Ugong Rock by using our Puerto Princesa tour planner.

  • You can do several things in ugong rock, rock climbing, ziplining, hiking and even base jumping, it's a nice stop on the way back from the underground river, ask your guides for it!
  • My teenage daughter decided to do this the superman style and really loved it and our driver brought us to the finish so I could video her flying through the air!
  • We went here after the Underground river tour. It took roughly 40 minutes from the Sabang port. Many activities are offered here. You can try Spelunking, climbing, zip line and more. Rates range from ...  more »

  • Its a community based tourism spot. When you do the activity, you will enjoy at the same time helped the community
  • Caving is pretty fun. The community is surviving off tourist dollars, with no shortage of traps. Still worth a visit. Not for the larger figured - there are some tight squeezes.
  • We stopped by here enroute to the underground river tour. They had some ziplining and caving.
  • .new and wonderful experience with a lot of discovering
  • The Restrant is expensive. It is not valuable. I think they use mango can juice as thier mango shake. It was awful experience for me.
