Geologic Formation
Join an organized tour to explore the labyrinth caves of Ugong Rock, a 22 m (75 ft) limestone natural wonder governed by a community-based tourism project. The caves lie In the midst of farmlands and karst forests, and your tour culminates in a sharp, entertaining zipline. When underground, pound the stalactites with your knuckles to produce the characteristic reverberating sound called "Ugong." Since there are a lot of tight spaces to squeeze through during the exploration, visitors must meet the imposed weight restrictions, and children under the age of ten are not allowed. Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to Ugong Rock by using our Puerto Princesa tour planner.

  • This was a moderately cool, well-managed site. It has a nice but not overly scary zip line that was fun. In all, it was a fairly cost effective place to go. It is not necessarily the most awesome thin...  more »

  • We were taken here without notice on the way to the underground river and if you don't pay the 200 for the cave tour you're stuck in the van which we really didn't like. The cave is nothing extraordinary but taking the tour is fun and the tour guides are nice. Decent zipline at the end of the tour is optional for 200-250 php
  • Amazing place! Trail is kinda difficult for the elderly but all was worth it. Must try is the zipline at the top!
  • Awesome place. A must stop-by if you plan to visit Underground River
  • We had a great experience here! The community guides are kind and very helpful. The top of ugong rock is very refreshing. I tried the zipline and it is very exciting! I even have my photo printed! Ngiting tagumpay! Definitely a great experience!
  • Fat-burning spelunking adventure before heading to the Underground River. Tiring but it's all worth it.
