  • Amazing place. Seaside wind is pleasant! Accommodating services and freshly prepared food. Only downside is that when it rains, many stores are closed.
  • Loved the walk at night. There's a bike rental there if you want to take a stroll near the bay. The sidewalk are well lit and theres so much food stall there so if you get hungry from your walk you could grab a bite.
  • If you are just looking for a place to chill while watching the sea, well this might be the perfect place for you. They also have some street foods where you can buy, but if you want to have a heavy meal there nearby restaurants to choose from.
  • There are a lot of seafood restaurants with reasonable prices. We had a boodle fight - a rice and seafood on banana leaf to be eaten with bare hands - for 300 Peso good for the two of us. Also good for beer drinkers. Else the place is rather not maintained.
  • Just a place for locals to get cheap food and enjoy a walk. Expats make sure you use repellant or you will be bit a lot.

Where to stay in Puerto Princesa

The main urban area on the east coast provides the bulk of accommodations for visitors to Puerto Princesa. Choose from a rich variety of large resorts, relaxing spa retreats, and eco-lodges, with many nudged up as close as they can get to the beaches and offering sea views. More basic accommodations include side-street guesthouses and dormitory-style hostels, while wilder options can be found sitting in privileged places along the coast to the north and south.
