  • You get to hold centipedes, geckos, and scorpions. The bearcats were adorable. The tribal village is good, especially for people who have no idea of tribal life.  more »

  • The tour guides are very accommodating. The place is good for site seeing. There are few insects and animals. You also get to meet the locals here. BTW there is an entrance fee.
  • Always love butterfly gardens and this one was good. The tribal village was very nice as well. I happily bought some needed gifts and souvenirs. The caged animals were not attractive and really took away from the experience, even if they were 'rescued' , otherwise five stars.
  • Nice place with nice animals. You can enjoy it for only 50 pesos. It was great!
  • We absolutely loved this place! Good for grown ups as well. Besides the butterflies and Tribal experience (their handicrafts are highly recommended as souvenirs as they are both authentic and support directly the Tribal people) there are also "petting" exhibits of giant millipede, stick insect, specially bred Gecko and even a giant Indonesian scorpion!
  • Butterflies, insects and animals are very interesting. In the tribal village I got to have a large snake wrapped around me.

The main urban area on the east coast provides the bulk of accommodations for visitors to Puerto Princesa. Choose from a rich variety of large resorts, relaxing spa retreats, and eco-lodges, with many nudged up as close as they can get to the beaches and offering sea views.
