Dumaluan Beach, Panglao Island

4.3
#3 of 8 in Parks in Panglao Island
Swim in the blue waters of Dumaluan Beach, covered with fine white sand and lined with palm trees. The water is so transparent here that you'll be able to see fish and other small sea creatures swimming all around you. Pricy beachfront resorts, clubs, and restaurants flank the beach, a popular spot for wakeboarding, parasailing, and jet-skiing. Those who simply want to unwind can tie a rocking net between two palm trees and swing to the sound of waves gently lapping the shore. • From Alona Beach can be reached in 10 minutes by tricycle in PHP 120/150. Unless you live in some resort on the beach, you can hire sunbeds. The beach is not very deep but it's a little chaotic, nothing to do with Alona Beach literally assaulted by people and boats. The colours of the sea are great as well although the backdrop is not very deep. Perfect for kids, a little less for adults who wish to swim. There are a variety of places to eat, ranging from super cheap to those a bit more refined. Accessing payment through the Dumaloan Resort or free from the road further north towards the Amarela Resort. Once you are on the beach, can be accessed for free at Pamglao DBR Grill and eat grilled meat or fish for very little money.

  • Only negative that there is only high end resorts on this beach which makes it very expensive to hang around  more »
  • Don't take photos. Terrible dirty Beach, no one cleans up there and doing nothing at all there. We were hoping to see cute easygoing Beach without tourists, but realized that it is better to return to Alona beach. I do not advise.

  • Best beach in Bohol along with Libaong as it is not crowded and you can still enjoy some resort facilities. calm and easy to find. better than crowded / noisy Alona beach.
  • A top hotel in Bohol with a white sandy beach, hot tropical sun & clear waters. There's kayaks & pedal boats for rent, as well as scuba diving & island hopping options. The rooms are affordable & the food is good.
  • Another nice beach
  • Beautiful beach. Some hotels will let you enjoy their private beach if you get a drink
  • One of the best beaches in the country! Powdery white sand and crystal clear waters. Quiet and serene surroundings. The ultimate go to place if you need to relax and unwind!
