  • This is my 4th times in Alona Beach.Heaps of bar and restaurants..But the motorbike and tricycle drivers asked too much money for the fare. It's better to hire a motorbike about 500 pesos/day.  more »

  • Very touristy area, full of restaurants (mostly Korean), bars and all kinds of things. Very lively but of relatively small area itself. The beach itself is a thin piece of very shallow water and can swim right there. A lot of ships biscuits and kelp. Equals spring for dinner and to hang out in the area, all marine tours depart from the beach but beyond that it's cute, and more

  • The white sands of Alona Beach was surely one of the great thing of our Bohol trip. After a long day exploring the different tourist spots of Bohol, we all went to the beach for a relaxing dip. After this we changed and had dinner along the beach. It can be considered romantic if the set up is correct. I would highly recommend staying in one of the resorts along the Alona Beach because only guests of the resorts and a few outsiders are allowed. Hence, a safer place to stay while visiting Bohol.
  • Touristic, yes! But worth a visit, specially in the morning when it is quieter. Late afternoon when the sun is “gone” it’s become full of locals & tourist to enjoy the happy hour/diner, walk around... it is not a quiet beach but it’s nice to visit.
  • One of the best beaches in the Philippines. Be prepared as it is full of tourists both local and foreign. In case you get hungry, restaurants are accessible.
  • Amazing place! Great experience to try island hopping. I will definitely visit here again and again lol
  • Powdery white sand beaches, lots of places to stay that will suit ypur budget. Active night life and a lot of places to dine and relax. Its not too crowded as pf now.. Not sure in the coming months due to the closure of Boracay. There a number of dive shops in the area offering their services professionals and novices. You'll enjoy your stay here.
