Tumalog Falls, Oslob

4.5
#2 of 63 in Parks in Cebu Island
With their silky water curtain reflecting the sunlight, Tumalog Falls create a picturesque vision set in the midst of lush tropical vegetation. Dip in a chest-deep blue pond underneath the falls, and feel the spray from the moss-covered limestone cascade. From the registration area, take the five-minute downhill walk along a narrow steep tarmac road to the site. Rent snorkeling equipment, take a boat tour, or opt for one of the canyoneering tours offered in the area. • It was fun ride to the falls via the scooter for 50 pesos only! Once you get there, be amazed as the falls are huge and the water strong....and refreshing! We truly enjoyed it!  more »

  • second time here. i like on barefoot going down the hill i feel safer doing that. i had better picture of the waterfalls 2years ago that this one. i suggest going here on summer time.
  • The waterfalls is just simply amazing. I thought it'd be crowded but it's not. They have a fish spa there. The place is also quite, you can unwind and chill there.
  • Really beautiful waterfall for enjoying a hot summer day . The water is really cold but refreshing. The entrance is free and the guide is a top photographer . We enjoyed our stay there Not so crowed like many other waterfalls.
  • Beautiful place! You have to use shoe wear that is comfortable as you have to walk downhill but as soon as you get there you can see how amazing this place is . If you go in the afternoon is a bit cold as it’s very windy but totally worth it
  • To get to the falls, tell the taxi to take you to Tumalog Falls. They will drive you to the top of a hill where you can either walk down to the falls yourself, or rent a moped to drive down. It is a steep hill so I was very scared to drive myself down, but if you can control a moped and do not like walking up steep hills, it's a great option. Once down the hill you're greeted by Tumalog Falls. Very beautiful, and I wish I had brought a picnic to eat, so I could enjoy spending more time by it. If you wear your bathing suit, you can wade in the water below the falls. It is very shallow and goes up to waist height at most. The falls are very soft and you can stand under it easily. The falls may dry up in the dry season, but we went during the dry season and it was still very beautiful and photogenic.
