Caleruega, Nasugbu

Nestled in lush, verdant grounds, Caleruega serves not only as a church, but also as a sanctuary retreat, with a koi pond, rope bridge, and many other interesting structures, aside from the main building of worship. Founded in 1995, the spot has deservedly become a popular site for wedding ceremonies, with the grounds affording peaceful and picturesque strolls to enjoy before heading into the main building, the Chapel of Transfiguration. Inside the chapel, you can observe vibrant stained glass windows above the altar, and grand architecture throughout. If you need a break and refreshments, order a drink at the cafe in the green grounds. To plan Nasugbu vacation without wasting time, ask Inspirock to design an itinerary.

  • Such a peaceful place, at times. The view here is relaxing, and the weather is cool as any in nearby Tagaytay, though not that cool. In the distance you can see Mt. Batulao, while enjoying some local delicacies sold just outside the Church. Going here can be tedious at times. The road still is not fully cemented, but that has not deterred visitors either to attend a wedding, or take pictures, or to pray.
  • Very lovely and nice place. Ideal for wedding and many are surely dreaming to have their wedding here. This place is very instagrammable. They also cater recollections and retreats. The place near the hanging bridge is very nice and cool. There are vendors there selling bananaque which is very delicious and yummy as it is fresh. However it is not ideal to go there during rainy season as definitely you will not enjoy it. Go there during summer to enjoy the place.
  • The place is huge and the gardens they showcase are awesome and serene. I suggest to go to the tent chapel last.
  • A good place to contemplate because it is so serene and beautiful. The place looks so well-maintained. Make sure to have a bottle of water with you because exploring the places within Caleruega is tiring.
  • The plants are well groomed. There are many flowers. The air was a breeze. The view was spectacular. At the end would be the house of prayer.
