Caleruega, Nasugbu

(4.6/5 based on 110+ reviews on the web)
Nestled in lush, verdant grounds, Caleruega serves not only as a church, but also as a sanctuary retreat, with a koi pond, rope bridge, and many other interesting structures, aside from the main building of worship. Founded in 1995, the spot has deservedly become a popular site for wedding ceremonies, with the grounds affording peaceful and picturesque strolls to enjoy before heading into the main building, the Chapel of Transfiguration. Inside the chapel, you can observe vibrant stained glass windows above the altar, and grand architecture throughout. If you need a break and refreshments, order a drink at the cafe in the green grounds. To visit Caleruega on your trip to Nasugbu, use our Nasugbu itinerary maker.

  • This place is peaceful and quiet. It is good for retreats and has also been a favorite wedding venue. Everyone is also welcome to come even just for a quiet walk, to get in touch with nature and to have a prayerful day. There's a small entrance fee of around P20 (2-3 years ago). You can simply walk around the huge garden and enjoy the fresh air on this mountain top venue. It is recommended that you bring sunblock, cap or hat, snacks and water if you plan on going to this place

  • A relaxing and peaceful place. You can also use their picnic ground at the back of the church.
  • I love Caleruega 'cause it's so peaceful, It's like you don't have any problems. The place is so relaxing. I wanna go back here in Caleruega. Because the first time I go here is we have a retreat, and it's a good time to spend with my co-students and friends.
