  • It's very beautiful place and excited to see the falls. I was really enjoy at hiking. You must visit in Cebu someday. :)  more »

  • Touristy and crowded. A huge disappointment for most travellers. One advice: go to a local canyoning shop and they will take you to amazing waterfalls after some tracking. Avoid kawasan at all costs! If you end up there though, go to the upper waterfall ,it is much more quiet and somehow enjoyable (left alone the smelly food stall in front...)
  • My only disappointment in the whole Philippines, such a tourist trap. To get a table (just to sit) they charge you 300 PHP(what would normally be the cost for a meal for 2 with beers). They don't allow you to leave your bags properly allocated somewhere, they want you to use the lockers(150 PHP for the small and 200 for the big). Prices of everything were too ridiculously expensive (way more than Boracay, El Nido or Panglao for example, which are places 1 million better than the falls). I stayed there for 30 minutes, all of that put me off and I even regretted paying the 40 PHP fee for that. Think twice before going. Maybe the canyoneering is a nice experience, because you get to the falls only at the end of it.
  • Nice place but everybody is selling you some things that are way OVERCHARGED. Dapat marunong kayo tumawad for a right price. Thats it. Otherwise it is a good naturetrip and a cool mountain dip 😉
  • I've read the reviews about trashes but we've just went there last August 19, 2016 and I did not notice any trashes. We also saw several locals always cleaning. Going back, yes, there were many tourists and it's kind of crowdy. But the natural resources were good and beautiful. We managed to jump over the 40 feet cliff but were already full that we did not jump over the 70 and 100 feet cliff. And oh, we liked the heavy massage of the falls. Wow!
  • Worth the hike! Good food + great sceneries! A must visit place in Cebu! Kawasan falls consists of a 3-tier falls which caters people's dynamic interests. 1st tier focuses mostly on people who likes food combined with great scenery. This is a good place to stop by, take selfies, and indulge mother nature. The best waterfall view is found here in tier 1. 2nd tier focuses mostly on adventurous people. Not only you get the scenery and food but also the ability to do a jump dive in three different areas. Not sure if they offer rappelling on the side of the falls but I saw someone do it there. 3rd tier focuses on people seeking fun. Here you can find a natural - ish waterslide (better when you are in a group). There is also a jump dive spot plus a swing for those needing a different experience in making a dive through the waters. Be warned that there is no food available in the area and the water temperature here is colder compared to the other tiers! A word of advice: Go here early (around 6am or earlier) to avoid the crowd.
