Stand on a bamboo raft underneath a spectacular three-tiered waterfall by a turquoise forest lake at Kawasan Falls, a popular tourist area in Barangay Matutinao. You can take a canyoning tour and trek along the Kawasan River to see some picturesque villages in the jungle, while exploring the upper tiers of the waterfall. Take a dip in a hidden azure lagoon, or just sit back and enjoy tranquility provided by lush greenery. To truly find peace and quiet, get away from the lowest tier of the waterfall, which is packed with thatched huts, food stalls, and raft rentals. The place is beautiful but there are just so many people when we went there. I did not try canyoneering but my friends who did had a great time, so I guess it's a good reason to visit again :)
Great swimming in clear waters. This is definitely one of the must see attractions in Badian. Beware the steep charge of 300 pesos just to use one of the benches though.
I suggest this trip to everyone, beautiful terraces water, too many people I suggest you to visit in the afternoon to avoid the mess
It was an awesome adventure from canyoneering going to the falls. Something worth your bucket list. Just some minor improvements needed like the bridge that the motorcycles pass by to exit the place and the vendors need to be organized to maintain the beauty of the place. You will appreciate it more if you start with canyoneering first.
Gorgeous place! The guide took us to both falls and we even cliff jumped! Only downfall is the amount of people visiting when we went, however the raft ride made up for it. Also make sure you bring toliet paper with you because they don't supply it in the washrooms.
Beautiful indeed, but such a tourist trap, totally takes away from the experience. For instance, you have to pay for a table if you want to put your bag down for a second. Walk up to the 2nd and 3rd levels, there's less people as you walk up. Still, the water has some incredible natural mineral it it that goes it this aqua blue color...it's beautiful. Plus it's a perfect refresher to break the day's heat.
The water from the falls was really cold but the view is not that beautiful. We enjoyed riding the bamboo raft and the falls massage that comes with the tour. The place is also swarmed with so many people.
