  • Beware of dual pricing. I found a painting I liked and the price was clearly written on the back. The ladies asked for 3 times the price stated and said "it's the price in the record". When I asked to see the record (as anyone would do when buying an original piece) they said "oh no sir it's confidential". And by that I think they meant they are confidentially ripping people off to earn more commission or keep the amount above the sticker price. Sad.
  • Their collection is overwhelming large. If you're at Intramuros, this is a good stopover to buy pasalubong or gifts for your loved ones back at home. Check out all the floors.
  • Little known gem in Intramuros where you can get some high quality hand-made Filipino products. From native basketry to local furniture, Silahis has it all for you. Think of it as a native crafts emporium with three floors of art, artifacts, and everything else in between. You can get something for as cheap as a couple of hundred pesos, to rare vintage maps worth tens of thousands. A must visit for someone looking to shop for something a little bit more special.
  • Good shopping spot for Filipino souvenirs
  • Truly Beautiful!
