Roxas Boulevard, Manila

(1/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
The picturesque, palm-lined waterfront boulevard of Roxas Boulevard offers ocean sunset views, museums, and imposing governmental architecture. A staple of the country's tourism, the 7.6 km (4.7 mi) boulevard was designed by American architect and city planner Daniel Burnham, and is now famed for its restaurants, yacht club, and parks. Take a stroll along the length of the strip and admire the sights, or consider a romantic ride down the road by horse-drawn carriage. Look out for the Cultural Center of the Philippines, which incorporates a folk arts theater, an amusement park, and the Manila Film Center. • Is used when going from the airport to the malate. High traffic is a major 4-lane street, but very busy morning and evening. But it cannot be avoided because congestion occurs every day anywhere in Manila city. In the malate seafront is Park, so watch the sunset in the evening and very beautiful. Sea breeze and transformed into a lovely place. Boiled peanuts seller and boiled duck egg sales do occasionally appear. As compost instead of snack OK?

  • A traffic chaos so I haven't experienced yet. That alone is an experience in itself. Only a local driver has a chance here. Between vehicles (truck, BUS, jeepney, cars, motor taxi, bicycle taxi and young cyclists are people who want to sell you bananas, beverages or colorful vibrant fish in plastic bags. Without traffic a great Boulevard to the ocean. Lock doors always from the inside!
