  • This is really one nice museum for kids! Price is at 250 pesos, but 50% off for manila residents. But i think they should be more considerate with the price especially for kids below 5 yrs old, or muc...  more »
  • Good to see that this museum targets children. However, not all children can gain access - think street children and those from poorer economic circumstances. It's a delightful place, but needs an upg...  more »
  • As far as children's museums, this one was pretty good. The kids really enjoyed it. They especially loved the upstairs sections: the body section, the market, the fire truck. That is where we spent mo...  more »

  • I didn't know Dolphy's monument stands here! What a surprise. Been a while walking the busy streets of Manila. Museo Pambata has been a good place to let your inner child wander... from then till now :)
  • Good place to bring the kids. I wish upkeep was better. Some of the exhibits are in bad repair the last time I visited. For Manila residents there is a discount on the entrance fee.
  • It's a great place for kids, they can learn about a bit of everything... Philippine culture, historical Manila, music instruments, insects, medicinal plants, the human body and more. There is also a small outdoor playground. It has a lot of hands on activities for kids, and the prices at the gift shop are reasonable.
  • Great place to bring young kids to learn and explore different activities. Very kid friendly place. Best time to go is weekdays. Parking are available in front of the building.
  • The place is very educational for children! The place really improved! There are different sections you can visit: Spanish era, plants and herbs, human body, etc. Adults will also enjoy the place :)

Where to stay in Manila

Manila has the full spectrum of hospitality options, from highly affordable hostels you can book on the spot to luxury four- and five-star resorts. Opt to stay in mid-range and upscale hotels clustered around the central business district, or score sea views at the resorts facing Manila Bay. If you choose to go for the budget-friendlier hostel, note that many have large dorm rooms with many bunk beds, catering primarily to job-seekers, while others are designed for young backpackers looking to make new friends.
