The oldest zoo still operating in Asia, Manila Zoo hosts approximately 1,000 animals across 90 species, including Mali, an Asian elephant residing since 1977. Other animals of the zoo—which opened in 1959--include a Bengal tiger, monitor lizard, Malayan civet, and indigenous species such as long-tailed macaques.   • This zoo is the shame of the city of Manila. An elephant without water nothing alone, a tiger in a cage of 4 m 2, limit one wonders if some animals are not dead. All the animals are sick n monkeys have no facilities for day... And c is very dirty dirty! It is shameful to see that... the animals are not objects to be replaced!
