The oldest zoo still operating in Asia, Manila Zoo hosts approximately 1,000 animals across 90 species, including Mali, an Asian elephant residing since 1977. Other animals of the zoo—which opened in 1959--include a Bengal tiger, monitor lizard, Malayan civet, and indigenous species such as long-tailed macaques.   • We was there with my wife and many animals lives in terrible conditions, some looks very ill and week.  more »
  • Sad and difficult to understand why this zoo excists. You can see there is no money at all to maintain this zoo and not even for the animals. Dont even expect many animals here, there are just a few a...  more »
  • Of course, it is a very small and modest Zoo, but we would be happy to have walked in the shade of the trees and watched the animals. If you arrive with a child then I advise to visit animal quite well-maintained. Entrance ticket costs 100 pesos.
