Malate District, Manila
(1.1/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web)
Wander the streets of Malate District to see a wealth of modern architecture and visit the botanical gardens. Once a small fishing village, and today a tourist attraction, this district offers an array of entertainment options. Visit restaurants, bars, and discos for fun, then go shopping for clothes and souvenirs during the daylight hours. While other neighborhoods show old architecture, here you can see contemporary houses, as well as the impressive sports complex and football stadium. Beware of pickpockets, who are known to frequent the area, and don’t venture too far away from the main roads. Put Malate District and other Manila attractions into our Manila trip builder, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Malate is still good! Japan food shop and a sauna. Way through bright, dark alley risk is still very dangerous feel. Say something like atmosphere!
