Get a good look at the lifestyle of Manila's 19th-century aristocracy at Casa Manila. The replica of the original San Nicolas house (1850) was designed during the 1980s by Imelda Marcos. Visit the colonial stone-and-wood building to learn about the history of the residence and the particular era of its origin. Inside, you'll see a whole host of original period objects, including furniture and paintings. Take a break in the central courtyard and soak in the colonial ambiance. • We were impressed with the history of this place. Gives an impression of the colonial lifestyle dating back to the1800's. Loved our time in Intramuros.  more »

  • A good place to learn the history of Philippines. Make sure that you hire a guide also so that you will understand the significance of each of the exhibit and the enjoy the history better.
  • If you're ever to visit Metro Manila Philippine, this is a must place to go. It's so packed with history but not only that, it's also a cozy spot to move around and appreciate the beautiful architecture that wrapped the surrounding building. This is such a wonderful place and you'll definitely enjoy your visit.
  • We were not so lucky because of the rains, so can not walking around inside the Casa Manila so well but for sure in love with the building architecture. They have museum, coffee shop, restaurant and souvenirs shop inside, free entry to come in here but to enter the museum you have to pay for the ticket. Its very Instable, don't miss your opportunity to take the pics infront of the building, you will in loveee..
  • Nice museum. A little window into colonial life in Manila.
  • Definitely worth visiting this museum while you're in Intramuros
