SM Megamall, Mandaluyong

Categories: Shopping Malls, Shopping
Inspirock Rating:
4.3/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web
Shop, dine, and entertain yourself at SM Megamall, the largest mall in the Philippines. Initially designed as a complex of two buildings linked by a bridge, the mall has been expanded over the years, with the addition of an atrium, another building--which houses offices and a bus terminal--and a mega fashion hall. The mall features all the usual contents, including a department store, a supermarket, a food court, movie theaters, bowling alleys, and an ice skating rink. Eateries and restaurants serving local and international dishes occupy the bridge and the atrium. Be prepared to ask staff for directions, since the mall is huge and not well marked. Put SM Megamall at the forefront of your travel plans using our Mandaluyong tour planner.

  • There's nothing not to like. The mall is right, they got it all for you. Shoppers and foodie would want to live here. It's huge to even cater call center companies. See it to believe it.
  • There's not much to write. The Mall is huge, like many others in MM. Tip: taxi with grave taxi or a few streets further pick up. The taxis are usually extremely full and the taxes which near are demanding a fixed price much too high. There's a stroller rental.

  • 1. Crowded on sale seasons. 2. It's department store really is a place you can find everything you need, lightly cheaper the the branded store on the mall itself. 3. Foodcourts also gives you alot of choices. But also lots of people who stays on table who sells products silently on weekends. 4. Places for meetups. 5. Good number of cinemas. 6. There's another food court on the Bldg C 4thF that is a must try, food ranges around 200php+ and up but really is reasonable.
  • New renovations like the IMAX theater, Skating Rink, and the Fashion Hall make SM Megamall a place to be for shopping, dining, ang liesure/recreation. Packed with over a dozen cinemas (including IMAX and Directors Club), it boasts a seating capacity able to handle a large wave of cinema goers. The Mega Trade Hall on the top floor also caters to different small and extravagant events, where car shows, sales, comic conventions, and wedding expo are occurring year-round. There is also the Supermarket, located on both ends of the mall making grocery shopping easy since you wont need to go only to one side if you are packed on the other. Parking is being improved as of late, with the new wings having their own parking spaces (on top or on the basement). Which one building also houses a branch of Convergys (a product and tech company) for recruitment and operations.
  • The mall is awesome. You should check out Ippudo. They have a very delicious Ramen. I rate it us number ONE yet.
  • One of the best and biggest mall in Manila. Better than MOA if you really want to go shopping. Has a lot of shops and restos. Cinema is also good and they have IMAX and the Director's Club cinema at the fashion hall.
  • It's BIG! Especially the additional constructed Mega C or Fashion Hall. I love the layout of the whole mall because it's not an obstacle course. Compared to others. It also has everything. If you want to enjoy the place, start malling at 10am, expect crowds at lunch time but the rest of the afternoon is all yours :)
