  • My daughter loved the food available at this market and I really enjoyed the stroll. It wasn't massive, however it was enough where I thought it was an enjoyable space with some great food options. So...  more »
  • This market has deteriorated to be a hive for opportunists and plain rip off marketers. There's this French guy selling his cooked food for 350. pesos per meager portion - where did he think he was? -...  more »
  • its a great place to go for locals or if you are from out of town. Its not as good as the Sunday market in Legaspi village but almost.

  • Once a week, Salcedo car park turns into Salcedo Market where people in the neighborhood as well as passers by can buy their week-long supply of raw food and maybe satisfy their barbecue or fresh fruit cravings. There are raw food and cooked meals at Salcedo Market. There are plenty of meal choices to choose from but you'll be surprised that the prices of these meals are equivalent to the prices of meals of some of restaurants at Greenbelt, ranging from 220 to 400 pesos, and bear in mind that if you chose not to bring your meal at home, you'll be eating in a styro or plastic box, outdoor under the heat of the humid afternoon, with flies and mosquitoes around you. With that price, I'd rather dine in a nearby resto. But on a plus side, this place is a great place for those who live nearby to buy their week-worth of raw food supply. There are fresh meat and variety of sea food options, vegies nuts and fruits and native Filipino dish such as Tinapa, tuyo, tapa and tocino. You can also buy here Native meryenda like bibingka, sapin-sapin and various suman. Most people in that neighborhood live in condo units so they might be craving for some fish or meat barbecues. Salcedo Market can satisfy those cravings for it has a lot of tasty barbecue to choose from.
  • Huge variety of items to shop for. Convenient. Reasonable prices. In the heart of Makati.
  • Lots of good healthy food as well as not so healthy. A place where one can be adventurous with food because of the contributions of different expat chef wannabes. A bit on the pricey side, but definitely quality food products. My favorite is Bun Appetit who offers shrimp or crab sandwiches and they don't scrimp on the shrimps
  • Good location close to the center in Makati great selection of food and also fruits and vegetables. It does need a bit more space where you can sit down and enjoy your meal, the current space and it offers is a bit small for when it's crowded
  • Salcedo Saturday Market has everything from potted herbs to artisan dips. I usually enjoy going around the stalls for a couple of times to see the wide range of food items and goods. Most of the items are either home-made or are rare so price can be a little on the expensive side, and I don't think "tawad" is a popular move.
