  • This pop-up market is the best set up I’ve been to. An entrance/ exit has an in and an out side which seems to encourage a Counter clockwise flow around the market which is great because it doesn’t fe...  more »
  • Salcedo Saturday market Makati is inside a small park, in one of the most residential areas of Manila. Being frequented by the residents of the neighborhood and a few small tourist is so clean and well ordered. All around there are stalls selling predominantly food, expensive for the level of the Philippines. You can also just go shopping with meat, fish and vegetables, but you can also buy ready-made food and eat it sitting at tables that are located in the central part of the market. Could be street food, but being the environment thus hygienically irreproachable seems unfair to call it so. Being hard to choose, I had help from my friend Filipina, who kindly pointed out a few specialty Philippines, including the skewers of pork cooked in pineapple juice and various other appetizers. Yummy a cassava cream based desserts. Sure, a market so typical did not own anything.

  • You can also take you inside seemed to be a rather landmark restaurant I well have to eat at the outdoor tables not clean hot pot to buy, such as paella, but Les village Thai travelers receive a little more than a dining room in the green belt level was ... The flavor is outstanding not only the locals live cheaply and I wish there were a disappointment

  • The market is interesting which has the atmosphere of a western open market. The food are delicious and fresh. You can find food from various parts of Philippines. Do come here around 9.00am when the market is at its peak. Its not as big as some markets but the variety and high quality taking foods makes this market a must go destination. Its located near by Fraser Place Manila and Mandarin Oriental but its hidden away from the main road.
  • Nice place to go if you want to try high quality food selections and new trends in dining. For the last 20 or so years this market has created many foodtrepreneurs. The options here are amazing from fresh vegetables and fruits to Thai, Mexican, Spanish, Chinese regional and Filipino cuisine. This is the original weekend market that has spawned several copycats all over. But this original is hand down the best!
  • Parking is quite a pain if you come here late. Be sure to be here before 6AM if you want to secure a free parking (yes, some parking spaces near the park are free). A bit of traffic can be experienced around the park. Products sold are of good quality. From fruits to food to breads... One can pick hard to find, not usually sold produce, in grocery stores here.
  • Very nice market ! Definitely worth a visit if you are in town. It has a huge assortment of food, fresh vegetables & meat/fish coming from the farms. It is also a great place to eat so better come with an empty stomach. There are some nice handicraft stand & wood pieces. I will also recommend to come in the morning since in the afternoon the heat can be taught & it tends to get very crowded. Operino get time from 7am-2pm most of the stands.
  • Good food and better variety,t he prices are reasonable as well. Best time to go is when it opens as the crowd builds and it gets quite warm as the day progresses. Seating may be a challenge, too so it's best to have a companion every time you visit.
