Where to stay in Makati

A landmark of the growth occurring throughout many areas of the capital's metropolitan area, Makati has a particularly high concentration of five-star hotels, stylish boutiques, and spa/mall/hotel hybrids. Clustering around the main commercial and business districts, such accommodations rise high into the sky, offering extensive views of the city. A few hostels around the primary transport hubs and rental apartments in the more residential areas provide options for budget-conscious travelers.

  • I love this slice of green in my neighborhood. Currently under renovation until December 2017 though, so I hope to provide a more in depth review once the new park is launched!
  • It's perfect for everything you want to do from bringing your own "eats" either homemade or your nearby fave resto to just sitting down gazing up in the sky passing through the rustling leaves of big, towering trees . Perfect for your "nothing" moments too. Closing your eyes feeling the wind on your cheeks. Lying on the grass. Leaning on a huge tree. Walking. Staring. Day dreaming.
  • It's quiet here. And have all the shade you need for relaxation.
  • Visited on a weekend - was surprised to see that it was actually being used by families. I would hope that the Ayalas dont decide to bulldoze this spot. We need more green areas in the city. Good place to run!
  • Greenery is calming. You can jog & do your exercises there, too.
