Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati

(4.1/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web)
Sit back and enjoy the skyline amidst greenery in Ayala Triangle Gardens, an urban oasis set in the heart of Makati's busy financial center. The 2 hectare (5 acre) grounds covered with tropical foliage host many joggers, walkers, and bikers, as well as a number of bronze statues of Filipino heroes. Check out a row of cafes and restaurants offering a retreat under the canopy. Inspired by London's Hyde Park and run by a major property developer, the park occupies the site of a former U.S. airport. At night, LED-lit skyscrapers and a light show put on quite a spectacle. Put Ayala Triangle Gardens at the forefront of your travel plans using our Makati trip itinerary maker.

  • Went here for a run. Quite nice with plants and trees everywhere. Concrete jungle everywhere else in Makati. Tried a few restaurants here. Very convenient.  more »
  • This place was once of the rare bits of green in Manila. Owned by Ayala there are signs up saying that the land can be redeveloped at any point, which is sad but at least it's honest - given the fact ...  more »
  • Over the years I have watched the Ayala Triangle evolve from vacant lot to a wonderful, well curated green space worthy of 5 stars. The ONLY one in Makati. Now two thirds of it looks like an open-cast...  more »

  • Every christmas season, the lights will be set up. Truly a good way to invite loved ones and enjoy the musical lights! Other than christmas, it's a very nice park with very nice restaurants. It's a private park so be mindful of trash and making noice. Well secure
  • If you live in the city, this is one of the best places for a run -- no road crossings so you can run continuously; if you need uphills you can go up and down the underpasses; there is a 24-hour convenience store; no place to store your things though. Avoid the weekday rush hours though, it could be quite hard to keep pace if there are a lot of people on the sidewalks.
  • Nice pocket of green in the middle of the city but I feel the park is getting smaller. So uncool for the developer to get a part of the park to build a hotel. Also, I know that it is everyone's responsibility to keep the park clean, but it would really help if the lot owner was more conscientious
  • I like it here. Amidst the busy city there is a place where you can just relax and enjoy nature. Jogging is also popular in this place.
  • I enjoy the string of cozy restaurants and coffee shop while facing a relaxing garden
