  • We had the privilege to enjoy two weeks in Luzon and could not take our eyes off of Mount Mayon. The locals feel the same way and we learned that they are extremely proud of that cone volcano. All enj...  more »
  • Came from Turbina Bus Station on a comfortable bus to Legazpi in the morning, there's jeepney drove to volcano. Paid for entrance to 20 pesos, left a bag at the entrance and went to wander through the ruins of the old city and the surrounding rice fields. Spectacular views of the volcano, field and stream! You can also hire a quad bike and go to the foot of the volcano, about 800 pesos a walk, but we didn't take and went further in Donsol swim with the sharks.
