Embarcadero de Legazpi, Legazpi
Categories: Piers & Boardwalks, Tourist Spots
Before Typhoon Glenda, Embarcadero de Legazpi bustled with all generations of citizens enjoying a casual walk along the boardwalk, grabbing food and drinks, and shopping in numerous departments stores. After the disaster, many shops and bars closed their doors, with just a few small souvenir shops and cafes left. Nevertheless, if you enjoy exploring somewhat deserted sites, the boardwalk provides plenty of space to admire great views of the Mayon volcano. In embarcadero, with my friends and with my siblings we always jogging here in the morning or night, we enjoy to eat some street foods, we experience the zipline.
I went with my Dad, 10 yr old brother, and cousin for dinner. The place where we ate had delicious food but at 7pm Embarcadero seemed pretty dead.
It's quite sad half of the place is no longer used. Most of the stores are closed. There's a good view however, of Mayon.
