Maria Cristina Falls, Iligan

(3.8/5 based on 90+ reviews on the web)
Witness the impressive Maria Cristina Falls, the second highest cascade in the country, surrounded by lush jungle plant life. The majestic falls cascade some 98 m (320 ft) to the pool below, relinquishing over 130 cubic m (4,590.9 cubic ft) of water per second. A dramatic split formed by a rocky outcrop at their brink gives the falls their nickname, "Twin Falls." Juxtaposed against this verdant tropical landscape, you'll spot the nearby Agus VI Hydroelectric Plant, which harnesses the power of the falls to provide the city of Iligan with the majority of its power. Take your camera to capture photos of this visually impressive waterfall. • This falls is really fascinating. We did try to fly our drone here but the strong wind from the falls keeps pushing our drone away so we just had to use our dslr.
