  • Fun! Had it not been too hot, we would have stayed longer! Since I was 8, we go to malagos on weekends. But I haven't been here in a while and so much has changed. I'm happy about the chocolate museum...  more »

  • Paradise in Davao city. I like the place but too much protection makes it feel like a prison not paradise. The theme of nature garden looks like Disney Paris but no ride or noise pollution. Need a lot of ideas to make it more alive.
  • Entrance is very pricy! When i searched in the internet it was only 100, but when we arrived we were shocked because it became 200. The increase starts Jan2017. For your 200 it wasn't worthy, the place is big but there is no free shuttle ride to tour around. -The chocolate factory is still close when we went (Jan2017), i am not sure if it's open now. -Butterfly garden has no butterflies (all dead). -We went into a big cage for birds to see kinds of birds, but the caretaker says we have to go outside because it is still under renovation. -There is no bird show. -The kids tried to go to a certain relay course but the caretaker says its not free we have to pay first. (You only have to climb to a tied rope, walk in a mini bridge and etc. and you need to pay?) -It's better to visit Eden than here. You'll end up regreting..
  • If you love nature with the serenity of a sprawling complex of well maintained nature then this place is worth a visit for you might spend an entire day here. You do notice that years have been invested to carefully shape this place to where it is now. It is also home to an award winning Malagos Chocolate that can match the quality of other black chocolates around the world. They do have accommodations if you want to stay overnight. Of all the places I've been in Davao, this is #2 with #1 being the Philippine Eagle Center (which happens to be less than a kilometer from Malagos Garden Resort).
  • We were here last May 3, 2017 and we were so disappointed. The entrance fee of P200 per head is not so worth it, for the price you will be given just a map and you will be on your own. The cafe where we ate our lunch is full of flies and they do recognize this because they have candles in the table. The service is much worst, anything that you will ask about the menu will be asked by the waiter in the counter and you have to wait much longer for their reply. I ended up ordering directly to the counter and paid our bill there too since it will take you a very long time to get the bill and wait for the change or receipt.
  • If you love Nature, this is the place to be! Place is excellent for a day tour. You'll be able to see the whole place for 1.5-3hrs. You'll also have the chance to pet and feed some of the animals which is kinda cool!
