Explore the intriguing and educational exhibits at D' Bone Collector Museum, and inspect a plethora of preserved and reconstructed animals skeletons. Featuring the skeletons of a diverse range of creatures great and small, you'll see the remains of huge reptiles, domestic pets, simian tree dwellers, and plenty in between. The impressive collection was largely provided by an American named Darrell Blatchley, who has been amassing his curious horde since he was a boy. Consider taking a guided tour around the museum for an in-depth educational experience. Before you leave, browse through the dedicated gift shop, which offers the best in skeletal memorabilia and novelty items. • I found this place amazing! When I booked for the tour, I saw it in my itinerary but I just didn't think of it. When we got there, it exceeded my expectation. I learned a lot from the displays, and th...  more »
  • The small museum is located in the most distinctive feature of san Pedro Street, presenting a market full of various food stalls, eatery, turo turo, and pedicab. The san Pedro starts to Poblacion and straight tip towards the sea. To go to the Museum, they leave behind the Cathedral of san Pedro and the Park Osmena, and we are moving towards the direction of the sea; After crossing the Quezon boulevard entering the market, and the Museum is located in 300 meters on the right. Attention to the times: it is closed on Sundays and Saturday mornings, other days it's open from 10 to 17. Weight 150 ticket. I enjoyed the visit of three rooms on three floors with a guide who has shown the most interesting things about the skeletons of whales, dolphins, bears, horses and other cute finds. An American who now has 38 years he made the Museum also thanks to many donations of skeletons-from land and sea-horns, bones, insects, and even some colored stone. Well worth the visit which may last up to an hour, depending on the visitor's interest.

  • Literally, don’t judge the book by its cover. It looks dull at the outside BUT the moment the stories begun, you will surely love the journey. Each bone collected offers different true to life story. You will either felt sad, happy or mesmerize. The place is best for kids and adult as well. Highly recommended!
  • Nice place. Very educational and tour guides are friendly. Very organized museum. A must see in davao.
  • Awesome off the beaten path place to bring your animal or dinosaur loving kid! I'm surprised this isn't more popular! Learned quite a few things myself afterwards. Not only that they also promote taking care of the environment so as not to destroy the ecosystem
  • BONETASTIC, only the bone museum in Asia if I'm not mistaken. :D
  • A very educational place for students & non-students alike. It has various collections of animal bones.
