Inspirock Rating:
4.2/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web
Observe the ornate Churrigueresque architecture of Daraga Church, an 18th-century structure declared a National Cultural Treasure in 2007. Built by the Franciscans in 1772, the church is also known as "Our Lady of the Gate Parish Church" and overlooks the picturesque conical shape of Mayon Volcano. You'll observe a well-regarded example of Baroque-style craftsmanship, regarded as unique on the island. Admire the church's facade and walls made from volcanic rock, which is found in abundance in the area.
