  • Osmena Peak in Dalaguete is about 2 1/2 hours from Cebu City by car. You have to register first at the tourism office and pay the entrance fee of Php 30.00 per person before going up. It's best to hav...  more »
  • From Dalaguete, you'll ride a habal habal for an hour, then a 20-minute hike going to the peak. If you want to view good clearing in the peak, make sure that it hasn't rain on that day or the previous...  more »

  • Impressive view at the peak in just a short walk from the entrance ..ground rocks are sharp. You can go picnic here, and bring water and food. Or go camping for a night stay.
  • Beautiful place in the mountains. It reminds me of the chocolate hills a little bit. From the peak you have a great view to both sides of the island and the sea. I can recommend coming here, but take a jacket with you thus it's very windy up there
  • Nice view. You can have a 360' view of island. The weather is cool there. You only need to hike for 20 minutes then you will reach to the top. Suitable for any ages, even for elderly people. You need to pay 30 pesos for entrance fee. And the best way to reach there is take a motorbike taxi or rent a one for yourself which I did.
  • Nice place to see! Make sure to go there with a clear sky to have a good view
  • FYI - Source: Wikipedia Mount Labalasan (also known as Osmeña Peak) is located in Patung, Badian 9°49′12″N123°26′33″E. The peak is approximately 1,013 metres (3,325 ft) above sea level making it the highest peak in the island of Cebu. Mount Labalasan is part of the Patung, Badian range, which is unique from other mountain ranges in the Philippines because of its multiple jagged hills grouped together that overlook and stretch as far as the Badian shorelines. The highest of these hills is the Osmeña Peak. There are four trails going there: one from Mantalongon, and the rest from Badian that ends in Kawasan Falls and Liong. The easiest trek route is from Mantalongon Market to the foot of the peak. ---------- If you are person who loves outdoors, Osmena peak should be in your list to visit if you are going to cebu city . A friendly hike which will only took 15-20 minutes will lead you to the amazing Osmena Peak . I would suggest you to visit the place in the afternoon so that you can see sun set, its pretty romantic if you are with your partner .
