The mosque is located in Barangay Kalanganan in Cotabato City, and was funded by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam at a reported cost of US$48 million.The Sultan Of Brunei, funded the construction of this mosque with his own personal money to help the emerging Muslim population in the Southern Philippines.

  • Quiet, scenic and majestic. These are the words you can utter when you pay a visit to this grand mosque. Thanks to a Muslim friend, we were able to enter its sanctuary.
  • Definitely one of Asia's most beautiful mosques, thanks to the Prince of Brunei who donated it to the people of Cotabato. Best time to go there and have your selfie taken is early morning of late in the afternoon. Tourists are free to room outside the grand prayer halls every day except Friday. Be sure to be in decent attire.
