Sunken Japanese Wrecks, Coron

Categories: Wildlife Areas, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web
Popular with divers from around the world, Sunken Japanese Wrecks allow adventurous underwater explorers to discover a sea plane carrier, cargo vessels, gun boats, and submarine hunters sunk by Americans in 1944. Penetrate engine rooms, machine shop and cargo compartments, or see if you can spot anti-aircraft guns on top decks. Swim with banana fish, giant puffers, sea horses, turtles, and sea snakes, and keep your eyes open for scorpion fish and barracudas. A wreck of a gunboat near Lusong Island covered with hard corals makes a particularly good spot for snorkeling, as well as a decent resting spot between dives. • Great dives. A lot to see and do on these wrecks, from penetration to just looking around. Tell your DM your limits as they like to push things a little!
  • It is one of the best places for wrecks diving! Huge ships - where you can go inside and dive for as much as 30 minutes, exploring the insides of Japanesse ships from WWII
  • The rather big Japanese ship sunk during World War II, it became one of the main attractions of Busuanga. The iron remains a favorite with corals and fishes. All the remains of the ship are corals. The upper part of the vessels is almost level with the sea level. And how many fish here! A variety of colors and shades. Be sure to visit!
