Sink into hot, therapeutic water at Maquinit Hot Spring, a natural site known for healing relaxation. Sit in holistic hot springs as you look out at mangrove trees and idyllic skylines. Many tourists like to enjoy the hot water after hiking up the nearby Mt. Tapyas, although keep in mind that the water does get warmer in the sunny afternoons. There are no changing rooms or showers here. Locals recommend wearing waterproof footwear, as the natural pool can be rocky. • The place is clean, relaxing and has a spot where you could see the sea. At around 5pm, the place becomes crowded. Everyone wanting to take a dip into the hot sea water pool. The trike ride to this pl...  more »

  • Though crowded, its a great way to spend an evening at the Hot springs after a tiring day. We found the water to be soothing. Loved the feeling of my feet on the pebbles. The place is kept clean. But ...  more »

  • Lovely place. However, I don't like the unstable bridge setup. Seems like it's very accident prone. But it's is a very nice place. It's just weird they charge for 1 or 2 hour stay. I'm not even sure how they keep track of that. Really great time to go is sunset or evening. Also I can imagine it being super crowded.
  • Stunning views. The springs were clear and warm. Could even enjoy a cold beer while soaking. 😊
  • Take a van to get here due to the dusty roads. The water is nice and hot. Can be a bit crowded. Dressing shacks available but no showers. Great place to dip into after a long day of touring.
  • Great place to chill and boil at the same time! Felt great after a long soak. Highly recommended.
  • I hate what happened to us today here in Maquitnit HotSpring. Our tourguide brought us here. We were not informed that there is NO SHOWER AREA here. So, basically, after you dipped in the public pool of hotspring, you WON’T get the chance to have a HYGIENIC and CLEAN SHOWER. We went out and our tourguide brought us in a resto WITHOUT EVEN HAVING US SHOWER. I will not go back here. I even asked the admin of the hotspring of why there were no showers after dipping the pool. He said to me that there is no clean water except the dirty pool area. How rude is that. This just happened now! PS. This is in reply to you. I’m not asking for a place where I can take my full bath (where use of shampoo or soap that may damage the ecological biodiversity of the place). I have my own a hotel to do that. I’m just asking for a shower area where clean water can be provided. Where I can wash immediately the dirt from the pool. The public pool where everybody dipped themselves. Where blurry water that seems to be dirty. BUT YOU HAVE NO SUCH CLEAN WATER TO DO THAT EARLIER. To answer to your question, the one that I have asked is wearing polo shirt near the guard house.
