Kayangan Lake, Coron
(4.9/5 based on 1,300+ reviews on the web)
Considered one of the cleanest lakes in Asia, Kayangan Lake remains an ideal spot for photography and relaxing in a soothing natural environment. Besides going on a ferry ride, you can also reach the site by going on a hike through mountainous hills. Although you can swim in the lake, do not attempt to dive here, as the sharp underwater rocks could cause serious injuries. Arrange your visit to Kayangan Lake and discover more family-friendly attractions in Coron using our Coron trip itinerary builder.

  • One of the most beautiful places I've visited in my life. The water is clear, the view is out of this world. I will definitely go back there one day(God willing).
  • Traveled there via tour package. The guide was good enough to show us the great stuff we could do. The water was clear and clean and I wish I could swim more before we left for another landmark.
  • This is my second time to visit this place and it never cease to amaze not just me but all the people I met during this Kayangan trip. I also noticed that the Tagbanua probably fixed the wooden path w...  more »

  • If you are visiting this place on summer(feb-may) make sure you put on enough sunblock, and wear light clothes. On rainy season lather yourself on OFF lotion and be very generous. Mosquitoes are everywhere (except under water). With that said to enjoy this lake its best to Bring Life Jacket, Snorkel, Cameras and water to keep hydrated. There is also a mini cave on the lake there you can explore by swimming(facing the lake its on the left side). Not the one on the trail. Just enjoy:)
  • One of the best place i ever seen... The water is like crystal, it's quiet and warm and colourful. What to say? GREAT!
  • to better appreciate this site. 1. Make sure you have your life vest on, unless you are SUPER confident on your swimming capabilities because the lake is REALLY DEEP and you don't wanna drown there. 2. Make sure you don't stay near the entrance... EXPLORE, start on the side and try to circle the lake. 3. Look under the water, specailly near the lime stone walls. The formation is AMAZING. I don't how it formed like that... but seriously its like you are in a different planet. 4. if you are a diver, DIVE! too bad I wasn't able to experience this yet. 5. I saw some creatures here, cat fish, shirmps, some type of long small stick fish.
  • One of the more beautiful spots I've ever visited. Crystal clear water and a nice mixture of salt and fresh water
  • Long way to swim but I enjoyed snorkeling here
